03 / UNDERSTAND THE SOUND

WHAT MAKES
GOOD SOUND?

It's more than just watts.

Three things worth knowing before you pick a speaker. No spec-sheet headache required.

01 WATTS & LOUDNESS

POWER ISN'T
EVERYTHING.

Watts tell you about power output — not exactly how loud or how good a speaker sounds. Driver efficiency, speaker design and the listening space matter too.

2 LAZY 2 DECIDE Compare rated or continuous power where available. Don't treat a peak-power number as an equal comparison.

02 DRIVERS & BASS

FEEL THE
FULLER SOUND.

Bass doesn't come from one magic number. The driver, enclosure and acoustic tuning work together to shape how full and controlled the low notes feel.

2 LAZY 2 DECIDE A passive radiator can help a compact speaker produce bass, but it doesn't automatically mean deeper or cleaner bass.

03 MONO & STEREO

HEAR THE
SPACE BETWEEN.

Mono uses one audio channel; stereo uses separate left and right channels. But a stereo label alone won't tell you how wide the sound will feel.

2 LAZY 2 DECIDE Check channel support and driver spacing. A compact all-in-one speaker may have limited stereo separation.

LESS GUESSWORK. MORE GOOD SOUND. 2 LAZY AUDIO GUIDE / 03
