Solar tracking follows the sun. It describes the panel's movement, not automatic camera tracking of people.
Baseus advertises up to 2× solar energy collection compared with fixed-panel cameras under the same sunlight conditions over one day. Actual results depend on sunlight, placement, weather and usage. This is not a guarantee of twice the charging speed in every installation.

Does this kit contain two cameras or just two lenses?
It contains two separate S1 Pro camera units and one HomeStation. Each camera has two lenses: one wide-angle and one telephoto.
How do the wide-angle and telephoto views work together?
The wide-angle view shows the broader scene, while the telephoto view provides a closer perspective. The manufacturer app illustration shows both views together.
Is the 8× zoom optical zoom?
No. The manufacturer specifies 8× digital zoom. Image detail at higher magnification depends on the scene and viewing conditions.
Does automatic solar tracking mean the camera follows people?
No. The tracking function described here adjusts the solar panel towards sunlight. These product materials do not establish automatic camera tracking of people.
Is a 16TB drive included?
No. HomeStation includes 16GB of built-in storage. Expansion up to 16TB requires a compatible drive purchased separately.
Do I need a subscription for local recording storage?
A monthly subscription is not required for the local recording storage described in the manufacturer material. Storage expansion is a separate hardware purchase.
How long will the built-in storage keep recordings?
The manufacturer advertises approximately three months, but actual retention depends on recording settings, activity levels and storage use. It is not a fixed retention guarantee.
Can the cameras be installed outdoors?
Yes. The cameras are rated IP67 and have a stated operating range of −20°C to 50°C. Those camera ratings should not be applied to HomeStation.
Will solar charging eliminate all manual recharging?
Not necessarily. Solar charging depends on available sunlight and camera usage. Shade, poor weather or frequent activity can affect the energy balance.
